Trump: America began opening the Strait of Hormuz as a service to countries around the world

Axios quoted a US official as saying that US Navy ships transited the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, in a move intended to reassure commercial vessels and encourage them to resume passage.
However, Iranian state media quoted a senior Iranian official denying this information. Trump also attacked media outlets that he said were claiming Iran was winning the war launched against it by the US and Israel on February 28.
He added, "Actually, everybody knows they are losing, and losing big."
He continued, "The only thing in their favor is the possibility of a ship hitting one of their sea mines" in the Strait of Hormuz, while simultaneously asserting that "all 28 of their mine-laying vessels are lying on the seabed" following the US strikes.
