Three terrorists executed in Sharqia – Details

The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced today, Tuesday, in an official statement, the execution of three Saudi citizens in the Eastern Province, after they were convicted of committing serious terrorist crimes that threatened the security and safety of society, including targeting security personnel and government headquarters.
Details of terrorist crimes
The Ministry statement revealed that the perpetrators—Hussein bin Haider bin Alawi Al-Qallaf, Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Saud Al Hamad, and Hassan bin Saleh bin Mahdi Salim—formed a terrorist cell aimed at destabilizing security and stability within the Kingdom. The aforementioned individuals were involved in a series of criminal acts, most notably the killing of a security officer and the wounding of another, in addition to indiscriminate and direct gunfire targeting security headquarters and official vehicles, constituting a blatant attack on the authority and prestige of the state.
Their crimes were not limited to direct targeting, but also included manufacturing explosives and possessing quantities of various weapons and ammunition, with the intention of using them in acts of sabotage aimed at disrupting public order and terrorizing innocent people, which falls under the concept of “corruption on earth,” for which Islamic law has promised the most severe punishments for those who commit it.
The judicial process and the legal ruling
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that security forces, thanks to God and the vigilance of its personnel, apprehended the aforementioned perpetrators. Following the completion of investigations and the formal charges against them, they were referred to the competent court. The court reviewed the evidence and presented evidence, and issued a verdict finding them guilty of the charges and sentencing them to death by way of discretionary punishment (ta'zir) due to the heinous nature of their crime and its danger to society.
The ruling went through all stages of litigation permitted in the Saudi judicial system, including appeal and its confirmation by the Supreme Court. A royal decree was then issued ordering the implementation of the legally mandated punishment. The ruling was carried out on Tuesday, 3 Rajab 1447 AH, corresponding to December 23, 2025, in the Eastern Province.
Maintaining security and deterring corruption
The execution of this sentence reaffirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to applying Islamic law to anyone who dares to tamper with the nation's security or threaten the lives of citizens and residents. The Ministry of Interior consistently emphasizes that security is a red line, and that justice will be served against anyone who attempts to spread chaos or terrorism.
The statement cited Quranic verses that prohibit spreading corruption on earth, including the verse: “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption on earth is that they should be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be banished from the land.” The ministry concluded its statement with a stern warning to anyone contemplating such criminal acts that they will face the inevitable consequences of the prescribed legal punishment.
