Safe passage for ships

“We have started working with the parties concerned to put in place an appropriate mechanism to ensure the safe passage of ships,” the organization’s secretary-general, Arsenio Dominguez, told AFP, adding that the current priority is to carry out an evacuation operation that ensures safe navigation, following the announcement of a two-week temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
