The Minister of Health is briefed on the latest developments in ambulance services and preparedness for emergency cases

the Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Red Crescent visited the headquarters of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority today.
This visit coincided with the Board of Directors' meeting for the first quarter of 2026, during which he was briefed on the latest developments in ambulance services and the level of preparedness for handling emergency cases.

Emergency response readiness

During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the readiness to respond to emergencies, the mechanisms for managing emergencies and crises, in addition to a presentation of national indicators related to ambulance performance, and a review of the ambulance report journey from receiving it until the service is provided to the beneficiary.

He also reviewed the progress of the Authority’s 2028 strategy implementation plan, through the presentation of 17 murals representing product teams, reflecting the level of progress achieved since the beginning of this year, and the operational and developmental achievements in the various work paths.

Developing health services

During the visit, His Excellency attended a reception for the staff of the Authority, commending their efforts in providing ambulance services and their fieldwork, which contributes to faster response times and improved quality of emergency care.
This visit comes within the framework of the leadership's support for developing health services and enhancing integration within the emergency response system, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which focuses on improving the quality of life and community safety.
