Adherence to safety guidelines

The Civil Defense Directorate stressed the importance of adhering to safety guidelines during periods of inclement weather, including staying in safe locations, avoiding going out unless absolutely necessary, and staying away from hazardous areas such as valleys and open spaces.
It also advised against seeking shelter under trees or near roofs and metal structures, urged caution while traveling or engaging in outdoor activities, and emphasized the need to heed official warnings and alerts.
The Directorate called on the public to follow instructions issued through official channels of the relevant authorities and to contact 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 998 in the rest of the Kingdom, for assistance in emergencies.
