وافقت إدارة شركة النادي الأهلي على استقالة رئيس مجلس إدارة النادي خالد الغامدي، معربة عن شكرها وتقديرها لما قدمه خلال فترة رئاسته، ومتمنية له التوفيق في مسيرته القادمة.
ويأتي قبول الاستقالة بعد فترة رئاسة امتدت من موسم 2023–2024 حتى موسم 2025–2026، شهد خلالها النادي تحقيق إنجازات بارزة، أبرزها تتويج الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بلقبين آسيويين في موسمي 2024–2025 و2025–2026، إضافة إلى الفوز بلقب كأس السوبر السعودي 2025.
وأكدت إدارة شركة النادي الأهلي أن ما تحقق خلال المرحلة الماضية يمثل امتداداً لعمل مؤسسي متكامل، مثمنة الجهود التي بذلها خالد الغامدي طوال فترة رئاسته، ودوره في تحقيق العديد من المكتسبات التي ستظل جزءاً من مسيرة النادي، مع تمنياتها له بدوام التوفيق في خطواته القادمة.
The management of Al Ahli Club has accepted the resignation of the Chairman of the Board, Khalid Al-Ghamdi, expressing its gratitude and appreciation for his contributions during his presidency, and wishing him success in his future endeavors.
The acceptance of the resignation comes after a presidency that spanned from the 2023–2024 season to the 2025–2026 season, during which the club achieved notable accomplishments, the most prominent of which was the first team winning two Asian titles in the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 seasons, in addition to winning the Saudi Super Cup in 2025.
The management of Al Ahli Club confirmed that what has been achieved during the past phase represents an extension of a comprehensive institutional work, appreciating the efforts made by Khalid Al-Ghamdi throughout his presidency, and his role in achieving many gains that will remain part of the club’s journey, wishing him continued success in his upcoming steps.
