National Industries Exhibition in Makkah: Supporting Saudi Products and Vision 2030

The National and Consumer Industries Exhibition continues to play its pivotal role as a vital economic platform reflecting the qualitative shift that Saudi industry is witnessing in terms of quality and diversity, amidst a public turnout that reflects growing confidence in the national product.

Vision 2030 and support for non-oil industry

This exhibition is being organized within the context of a broad economic movement underway in Saudi Arabia, aimed at achieving the goals of Vision 2030 , which prioritizes the development of the industrial sector and the diversification of income sources. Such exhibitions serve as implementation tools for major national programs, such as the "Made in Saudi Arabia" program, which seeks to strengthen consumer loyalty to local products and make them the preferred choice, thus directly contributing to increasing the non-oil sector's contribution to the GDP.

Diversity reflects the strength of national production

The exhibition is distinguished by its comprehensive range of pavilions, encompassing diverse sections that cover all the needs of families and businesses. These range from food industries, in which the Kingdom has achieved self-sufficiency in many products, to consumer goods and household appliances, and building materials, which are experiencing increasing demand due to the urban development boom. The exhibition also dedicates a special area to national clothing and traditional crafts, showcasing a blend of heritage and modern innovation.

Empowering entrepreneurs and small businesses

To support the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the exhibition features a dedicated section for startups and entrepreneurs. This platform presents a golden opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to establish direct marketing channels connecting producers with consumers, eliminating intermediaries. This direct interaction allows participants to accurately gauge consumer satisfaction, refine their products based on immediate feedback, and expand their market reach in the Makkah market, characterized by high purchasing power and a diverse population.

A vital window and strategic timing

For his part, Naif Al-Zaidi , a member of the board of directors of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the industrial committee, affirmed that the exhibition represents a "vital window" for national factories to present their products to the consumer, stressing the importance of supporting initiatives that highlight the quality of Saudi industry.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition, which launched this week at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce Exhibition and Events Center, will continue for 11 days, and will receive its visitors daily from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering promotional offers and consumer solutions that meet the aspirations of visitors and support the local economy.
