Al-Owais protects the Green Falcons' net against Serbia

Saudi national team coach Hervé Renard will finalize his technical plans for the second friendly match against Serbia next Tuesday at 8:00 PM at the TSC Stadium, as part of the "Green Falcons'" preparations for the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada, and Mexico. He will conduct a final football scrimmage tomorrow (Monday), during which he will determine the starting lineup for the friendly match.

Coach Renard was keen to address the technical errors that occurred in the first friendly match against the Egyptian national team, which the Saudi national team lost by four goals to nil.

The Saudi national team's roster against Serbia is expected to undergo technical changes, most notably the participation of goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais, who joined the "Green" squad after the friendly match against the Egyptian national team.

It is worth noting that the Saudi national team’s group in the upcoming World Cup includes the national teams of Spain, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
