Roshan League fixtures schedule: Dates for 8 rounds and Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad stadiums

The Saudi Professional League Association, represented by the Competitions Department, officially announced the adoption and release of the schedule for the next seven rounds of the Saudi Roshan League for the 2025-2026 sports season, which begins with round 23 and continues until round 29, in addition to determining the dates for the matches of round 10 that were previously postponed.
This announcement comes at a time when the Saudi League is experiencing rapid development and unprecedented global attention, placing a significant responsibility on the League to meticulously manage the schedule. This schedule is the result of a comprehensive and in-depth study encompassing all organizational and operational factors. Precise consideration was given to the readiness of sports facilities and the regular maintenance schedules for stadiums, ensuring that matches are presented in the best possible technical and fan-friendly manner, befitting the Kingdom's sporting stature.
In detailing the new schedule, it was decided that the postponed matches of the tenth round will be held between February 23 and 25, 2026, to be a time gap between the 23rd and 24th rounds. The league also took into account the special nature of the holy month of Ramadan, as it was decided that all matches that will be held during the holy month will kick off at 10:00 PM, which is an annual tradition aimed at making it easier for players and fans to perform religious rituals and enjoy the evening football atmosphere.
Regarding infrastructure and stadiums, the schedule includes significant changes for Jeddah's two major clubs, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad. Their matches scheduled for rounds 23, 24, 28, and 29 will now be played at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium. This decision is due to King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Al-Inma Stadium) undergoing comprehensive maintenance to prepare it for hosting the remaining major matches of the season and events included in the national calendar.
The competitions department did not overlook the external commitments of Saudi clubs, as the participation of teams in continental championships was taken into consideration, specifically the teams that qualified for the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League for Elite, as these teams will play the matches of the 29th round on April 7, which gives them enough time to recover and prepare, thus enhancing their chances in the continental competition.
This meticulous organization reflects the Saudi Professional League’s commitment to applying the highest international standards of professionalism, and the continuous pursuit of the principle of fair competition and equal opportunities among all clubs, which contributes to providing an integrated sports product that enhances the market and technical value of the Saudi Roshan League as one of the most prominent emerging leagues in the world.
