The meeting included a comprehensive review of Saudi-Swiss cooperation across various fields, with a particular focus on promising opportunities to develop partnerships in the investment and economic sectors. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Swiss Confederation enjoy historic diplomatic relations dating back to 1956, which have evolved over the decades into a robust economic partnership. The meeting was attended on the Saudi side by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region; His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and National Security Advisor; His Excellency Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund; His Excellency Mr. Fahad Al-Saif, Minister of Investment; and His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Swiss Confederation. On the Swiss side, the meeting was attended by Her Excellency Ms. Helene Bodliger, State Secretary for Economic Affairs; Her Excellency Ms. Yasmin Chatila, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom; Mr. Gabriel Lochinger, National Security Advisor; and a number of other officials.
