
Thursday's weather: "Red alert" for heavy rain in parts of 3 regions
issued The National Center for Meteorology in its weather a "red alert" heavy rain in parts of three regions today, Thursday: Al-Baha, Asir, and Abha.
The phenomenon will begin at noon and continue until 9 PM in some areas, and until 11 PM in others.
The rain will be accompanied by strong winds, reduced horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods, and thunderstorms.
Rainfall locations
Al-Baha: Al-Aqiq, Al-Qura, Al-Baha, Al-Mandaq, Baljurashi, and Bani Hassan.
Asir: Al-Amwah, Al-Arin, Bishah, Tathlith, Tarib, Al-Namas, Balqarn, Tanomah, Al-Harjah, Al-Rabou'ah, Al-Farshah, Sarat Abidah, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Abha, Ahad Rafidah, and Khamis Mushait.
Jazan: Al-Harth, Al-Dayer, Al-Raith, Al-Ardah, Al-Aydabi, Fifa, and Haroub.
Thursday's weather
warned The National Center for Meteorology, in its weather of continued moderate to heavy thunderstorms across the Kingdom, leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail and strong winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran regions. The effects will extend to the southern parts of the Makkah highlands.
Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, and the Northern Borders region.
