Saudi House Pavilion at Davos 2026: 6 Pillars for Shaping the Future of the Economy

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing for a prominent and exceptional presence at the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, through its "Saudi House" initiative. Returning from January 19 to 23, this initiative boasts its largest and most comprehensive program since its inception, with a high-level delegation including several princes and ministers, along with leading business figures and international thought leaders, reflecting the Kingdom's growing economic and political influence on the global stage.

Strategic axes that keep pace with global transformations

This year's pavilion activities are based on six main themes designed to cover all aspects of sustainable development and economic transformation: (An Ambitious Vision, Data for Impact, People and Human Capital Development, Quality of Life, Investment and Cooperation, and Welcome to the World). These themes directly reflect the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and the events are held under the auspices of major government entities and national programs, including the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Invest in Saudi Arabia initiative, the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Quality of Life Program, the Human Capital Development Program, and the Saudi Data Platform.

Global context and leading role of the Kingdom

The Kingdom's participation in the Davos Forum comes at a time of profound transformations and complex challenges to the global economy, lending this presence added significance. As an active member of the G20 and a global investment powerhouse, the Kingdom, through "Saudi House," seeks to reaffirm its pivotal role in shaping solutions to economic and environmental challenges. The Forum provides an ideal platform to showcase the Kingdom's structural reforms, attract strategic partnerships that support diversifying income sources away from oil, and enhance its position as a global logistics and digital hub.

In-depth discussions and innovative initiatives

The pavilion, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, will host more than 20 panel discussions and dialogues bringing together senior officials, executives, and investors. For the first time, the initiative will launch the "NextOn" dialogue series, comprising more than 12 specialized sessions discussing emerging technologies and future visions. The agenda includes 10 sessions officially endorsed by the World Economic Forum, covering vital topics such as developing sustainable cities of the future, drought mitigation strategies, leveraging data power, the ethics of artificial intelligence, and the challenges of population aging.

Extensive partnerships and global appeal

This year’s edition features broad participation from the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Cultural Fund, the Kingdom’s Embassy in Washington, the Presidency of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) to Combat Desertification, and the Misk Foundation. This momentum builds on the pavilion’s great success last year, when it attracted more than 5,000 visitors, underscoring the growing global interest in the promising opportunities offered by the Kingdom.
