
Details of updated public transport bus schedules in Medina
The project, which is overseen by the Development Authority, includes AL Madinah AL Munawwarah 15 routes to serve beneficiaries throughout Medina, taking into account the density of locations and the number of stations on each route.
Five routes will be operated 24 hours a day, including the “Airport – Prophet’s Mosque” route, the “Miqat – Haramain Train” route, the “Faisaliyah – Wadi Mudhaib” route, the “Sayyid al-Shuhada Square – Al-Aliyah” route, and the “Khalidiyah – Al-Qaswa” route.
18 hours a day
The project stated that 10 other routes will be operated for 18 hours daily for the residents of Madinah and its visitors at various service locations, including the “Al-Khandaq – Al-Mushaf Printing Press” routes, “Al-Faisaliyah – Al-Miqat,” “Jabal A’ir – Al-Daitha,” “Al-Miqat – Industrial Cities,” “Mahzoor – Bustan Al-Safiya,” “King Fahd District – Quba Mosque,” “Shuran – Al-Aridh District,” “Al-Mab’outh – Oasis of Al-Uyun,” “Airport District – Al-Aliya,” and “Al-Aliya – Al-Qaswa.”.

The timetable comes as part of the efforts of the concerned authorities to develop the public transport system in Madinah, and to provide a comfortable and sustainable transport service that meets the needs of millions of visitors annually, especially during the Hajj and Umrah seasons.
