Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ittihad under the microscope of their rivals

Qatari clubs Al-Duhail and Al-Sadd, and Emirati club Al-Wahda, are monitoring the matches of Saudi teams (Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ittihad) in the Saudi Professional League, which they will face in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League in Jeddah. Al-Ahli will face Qatari team Al-Duhail next Monday at 5:45 pm at Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, while Al-Hilal will meet Qatari team Al-Sadd next Monday at 9:00 pm at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City, and Al-Ittihad will host Emirati team Al-Wahda next Tuesday at 9:00 pm at Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City.

The Algerian coach of Al-Duhail, the Qatari team, Jamal Belmadi, the Italian coach of Al-Sadd, the Qatari team, Roberto Mancini, and the Portuguese coach of Al-Wahda, the Emirati team, Jose Morais, are monitoring the most prominent weaknesses in the three Saudi teams, which will play the matches of the (29) round of the Saudi Professional League tomorrow (Wednesday), as Al-Ahli will be hosted by Al-Fayha at 6:55 pm in Al-Majma’ah Sports City, while Al-Hilal will host Al-Kholoud at 9:00 pm at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, and Al-Ittihad will face Neom at 9:00 pm at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.

Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad clubs are seeking to achieve victories over Al-Duhail and Al-Sadd of Qatar and Al-Wahda of the UAE in the round of (16) of the AFC Champions League Elite Competition, and to work on winning the continental title and reaching the world stage.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Ahli team won the AFC Champions League Elite title in 2025 in Jeddah, against the Japanese team Kawasaki Frontale with two goals to nil.
