The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation decided to uphold the result of the Al-Kawkab vs. Al-Saqr match, declaring Al-Saqr the winner with a score of (3-0), after it was proven that Al-Kawkab had not met the organizational requirements for holding the match.
The match was scheduled to take place last Friday afternoon at Al-Shula Club stadium, but the referee announced that it would not be held because the ambulance did not arrive at the stadium on time, which is a violation of the approved organizational requirements.
The committee's decision was based on its authorized powers and after reviewing the referee's and match observer's reports, as well as relevant official correspondence, which confirmed Al-Kawkab Club's non-compliance with the regulations. The club was also given the opportunity to present its defense, which was considered before the decision was issued.
Accordingly, Al-Kawkab Club’s loss with a score of (0-3) in favor of Al-Saqr Club was approved, with the result being fixed in the standings table, in a final decision that is not subject to appeal according to the regulations of competitions and tournaments.
