First: The total number of violators who were apprehended in the joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom amounted to (14,242) violators, including (7,884) violators of the residence system, (3,948) violators of the border security system, and (2,410) violators of the labor system.
Second: A total of 1,449 individuals were apprehended while attempting to cross the border into the Kingdom. Of these, 27% were Yemeni nationals, 71% were Ethiopian nationals, and 2% were of other nationalities. Additionally, 29 individuals were apprehended for attempting to cross the border out of the Kingdom illegally.
Third: 25 individuals were apprehended for their involvement in transporting, harboring, employing, and concealing violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations.
Fourth: A total of 36,365 undocumented migrants are currently undergoing procedures for implementing the regulations. This includes 32,309 men and 4,056 women.
Fifth: 23,815 undocumented migrants were referred to their respective diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, 6,808 were referred to complete their travel arrangements, and 6,285 were deported.
Reporting violations
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the Kingdom's border security regulations, transports them within the Kingdom, provides them with shelter, or offers them any assistance or service whatsoever, is subject to penalties of up to 15 years imprisonment, a fine of up to one million riyals, confiscation of the vehicle and accommodation used for sheltering them, and public shaming.
The Ministry clarified that this crime is considered a major offense warranting arrest and is a breach of honor and integrity. It urged the public to report any violations by calling 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province regions, and 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom.
