Following the Professionalism Committee's decision, Al-Nassr said: "They have the noise, but we have the pitch."

Al-Nasr Club expressed its satisfaction with winning the case of player Abdullah Al-Hamdan, as the club’s website published a post on its official page on the social networking site “X” in which it said: “They have the noise.. and we have the field”, through which the Al-Nasr administration reflected its confidence in the legal position, and an implicit message confirming the team’s focus on what happens inside the green rectangle, away from the external controversy.

This media interaction demonstrates the clubs' approach to investing in digital platforms to convey their messages, especially on controversial issues, as social media has become part of the competitive landscape, alongside what happens on the field.

It is worth noting that the Professionalism and Players' Status Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation issued its decision regarding the complaint submitted by Al-Hilal Club against professional player Abdullah Al-Hamdan, on April 7, 2026, on the grounds of alleged violation and circumvention of transfer and registration rules.

The committee explained that the complaint included a demand to apply the penalties stipulated in paragraph (2) of Article (62) of the Professionalism and Player Status Regulations, related to the violation stated in paragraph (1/3) of the same article.

In detailing the decision, the committee accepted the complaint in form, before rejecting it in substance, after studying all the circumstances related to the claim of circumventing the registration systems and professional conditions.

The committee also decided to reject the request to apply the sanctions, noting that the complaint was filed before the competent authority had ruled on the legality of terminating the contract, which led to its rejection in this respect.

The committee concluded its decision by confirming that it is subject to appeal before the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.
