Hilal is a member of the Handball Development Committee of the International Federation

The International Handball Federation appointed the President of the Saudi Handball Federation, Hassan bin Nasr Hilal, as a member of the Development Committee, within the new formation of the committee announced under the chairmanship of Croatian Tomislav Grahovac, and with the membership of an elite group of international experts specializing in the development of the game.

The committee included the following members: Sidikou Krimou from Benin, Carlene Chouty from Haiti, Joan Aquino from the Northern Mariana Islands, Cecilia Hernandez from El Salvador, Stefan Albrechtsson from Sweden, along with Hassan Hilal from Saudi Arabia and a representative of the Asian continent.

This formation comes as part of the International Handball Federation’s efforts to promote the development of the game at the global level, through supporting technical programs, exchanging experiences between federations, and raising the level of competitiveness in different continents.

The selection of Hassan bin Nasr Hilal as a member of the committee, as the first Saudi to be chosen by the International Handball Federation, is a confirmation of the Kingdom’s advanced leadership presence in the international sports system, and a reflection of the great confidence in national competencies and their active role globally, as an extension of the pioneering role that the Kingdom plays in supporting and developing the sports sector.

The committee includes: Sidiko Kerimu from Benin, Karline Schoutie from Haiti, Juan Aquino from the Northern Mariana Islands, Cecilia Hernandez from El Salvador, and Stefan Albrechtson from Sweden, in addition to Hassan Hilal from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representing the Asian continent.

This training comes as part of the International Handball Federation's efforts to enhance the development of the sport globally, through supporting technical programs, exchanging experiences between federations, and raising the level of competitiveness across different continents.
