Iran has allowed Chinese ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since Wednesday

Iranian media reported on Thursday that the Iranian navy had allowed a group of Chinese ships to transit Strait of Hormuz starting Wednesday evening.
The Tasnim news agency stated, “Based on a decision by the Islamic Republic, a number of Chinese ships were permitted to transit the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian-.”
It added that the transit, requested by Beijing, began Wednesday evening after Tehran reached an understanding regarding the Iranian-administered protocols.

Ship seized in Hormuz

A ship was seized off the coast of the United Arab Emirates by unknown persons and taken into Iranian territorial waters on Thursday, near Strait of Hormuz vital Tehran, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced.

The UK MTO reported that it had received a report of an incident that occurred 38 nautical miles northeast of Fujairah in the UAE, and that the vessel had been seized by unauthorized individuals while at anchor and was being escorted into Iranian territorial waters.

China's interest in resolving the crisis
