Mobile caravans enhance the quality of highway services during the Hajj season

Launched General Authority for Roads The mobile caravan initiative aims to enhance the quality of services provided on Roads quick during Hajj seasonThis is in support of the pilgrims and to meet the needs of travelers on the roads.
The Roads Authority explained that the initiative aims to provide support and field assistance to vehicles and buses that break down on the Hijrah Road linking Makkah and Madinah, in addition to helping in dealing with emergency breakdowns, and providing comprehensive logistical services, which include providing snacks and drinks, places designated for ablution, and air-conditioned rest areas for the pilgrims, in order to ensure their safety and comfort, and to enhance traffic safety on this vital axis.

Smooth movement of the pilgrims

The Authority affirmed that the roads sector is one of the vital sectors enabling the Hajj and Umrah sector, as it supervises its organization through the development of the necessary policies and legislation, and works to achieve the objectives of the roads sector program, which are based on safety, quality and traffic density.

She explained that the Kingdom ranks first globally in the road network connectivity index, which supports the smooth and safe movement of pilgrims, noting the continuation of its efforts to improve traffic flow during the Hajj season, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience, and to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics center.
