The head of the Board of Grievances inspects the courts of Makkah and meets with beneficiaries

As part of ongoing monitoring of judicial proceedings and ensuring the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, His Excellency the President of the Board of Grievances and Chairman of the Administrative Judiciary Council, Dr. Ali bin Sulaiman Al-Ahaideb, conducted an inspection visit to the Board of Grievances Courts Complex in the Makkah Region. This visit aimed to assess the performance of the courts and judicial and administrative departments firsthand, and to guarantee the prompt administration of justice in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership.

The Board of Grievances is an independent administrative judicial body in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, established in 1373 AH (1954 CE) as a cornerstone of the Saudi judicial system. Its pivotal role lies in judicial oversight of the actions of administrative bodies and adjudication of disputes in which the administration is a party, thereby ensuring the protection of rights and freedoms and upholding the rule of law. Over the years, the Board has undergone significant development in its structure and jurisdiction, culminating in a comprehensive digital judicial system designed to facilitate access to justice.

During his tour, Dr. Al-Ahaideb reviewed the workflow in the judicial departments and examined statistics and performance indicators reflecting the volume of cases received and their processing speed. He also met with judges and administrative leaders in the courts, listening to their work requirements and the challenges they face, and commending their efforts in organizing cases and responding promptly to beneficiaries. His Excellency emphasized the importance of maximizing the use of the digital services provided by the Diwan through the “Moeen” digital platform, which has significantly contributed to reducing litigation time.
