Deputy Minister of Defense sponsors graduation ceremony for university officers 1447 AH

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Deputy Minister of Defense, today presided over the graduation ceremony for university graduates of officer training courses in the various branches of the Armed Forces for the academic year 1447 AH. The ceremony was held at the King Abdulaziz Military College in Al-Uyaynah, one of the Kingdom's most prominent military educational institutions.

The university-graduate officer training courses hold significant strategic importance within the Ministry of Defense, aiming to infuse the military with new talent from among national experts in various academic and scientific fields (such as medicine, engineering, computer science, and management). This combination of academic qualification and professional military training contributes to enhancing the operational and administrative efficiency of the various branches of the armed forces, aligning with the Ministry's development programs and the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to localize military industries and strengthen defense capabilities.

Upon his arrival at the college, His Highness was received by His Excellency Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghafeeli, Deputy Chief of the General Staff; His Excellency Lieutenant General Fahd bin Saud Al-Juhani, Chief of Staff of the Land Forces; and Major General Fahd bin Saad Al-Qahiz, Commander of King Abdulaziz Military College. Immediately upon the arrival of His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense, the Royal Anthem was played, followed by the commencement of the ceremony with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

The speeches at the ceremony and confirmation of readiness

The Commandant of King Abdulaziz Military College delivered a speech welcoming His Highness, the patron of the ceremony, and expressing his gratitude for His Highness's generous patronage of the graduation ceremony for a group of university officers. Major General Al-Qahiz noted that the graduates had successfully completed their military training, moving between classrooms and rigorous training fields, where they acquired the knowledge, skills, and military values ​​that qualify them to be effective leaders in their units and capable of keeping pace with the rapid development witnessed by the Ministry of Defense across all its sectors.

This was followed by a speech on behalf of the graduates, delivered by graduate Saleh bin Jamal Al-Fayez, in which he expressed his and his colleagues’ pride and honor in the patronage of His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense for their graduation ceremony, stressing their complete readiness to defend the homeland and protect its sanctities and gains, and renewing the pledge of allegiance to the wise leadership.

Graduation and honors ceremony

The ceremony featured an impressive military parade that reflected the high level of discipline and field skills the students acquired during their training. Following this, the graduates took their oath, and the overall course results were announced. His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense honored the top-performing students in recognition of their efforts and academic and military excellence, and then received a commemorative gift from the college commandant.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates received their military ranks, and His Highness posed for commemorative photographs with them, before the ceremony concluded with the playing of the Royal Anthem. This graduation represents a significant contribution to the Saudi Armed Forces, providing the field with officers who combine precise scientific expertise with rigorous military discipline.

The ceremony was attended by a number of senior leaders and officials, including His Excellency Lieutenant General Jarallah bin Mohammed Al-Alawit, Commander of the Strategic Missile Force; His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force; and His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. Also present were Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al-Suwaid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Procurement and Armament; Engineer Mohammed bin Faisal bin Muammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Excellence Services; and a number of senior civilian and military officials, as well as the graduates' families.
