A national context that supports charitable work
This significant focus on the third (non-profit) sector is perfectly aligned with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which has prioritized the development of this sector, increasing its contribution to the GDP and strengthening its role in social and economic development. The wise leadership is working to empower charitable organizations through modern legislation and regulations that ensure governance and transparency, thus enabling them to fulfill their humanitarian mission with high efficiency.
Human development strategy
In his address at the ceremony, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd explained that the “Binaa” Association is progressing steadily, guided by the leadership’s directives, saying, “At the Binaa Association, we follow the path and guidance of our wise leadership—may God protect them—in supporting and empowering the non-profit sector.” His Highness emphasized that the association’s strategic goal since its inception transcends mere traditional care; rather, it aspires to create a comprehensive environment for orphans, enabling them to become productive and active individuals, capable of serving their faith and nation and contributing to the development of their society.
Institutional excellence and societal impact
His Highness pointed out that the association's receipt of numerous prestigious local and international awards is a reflection of its distinguished standing and conclusive proof of the soundness of its approach, thanks to the efforts of its board members and executive management. This excellence reflects the significant positive impact the association has on the lives of orphans and their families in the Eastern Province, thus strengthening social solidarity and family stability.
His Highness concluded his speech by expressing his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province for his continued patronage of the ceremony and his support for the association’s initiatives.
