
Urgent: Ministry of Interior: 100,000 riyal fine for anyone harboring holders of visit visas
has emphasized The Ministry of Interior that a fine of up to 100,000 riyals will be imposed on anyone who harbors holders of visit visa in any designated accommodation (hotels, apartments, private residences, shelters, pilgrim housing sites, etc.), conceals them, or provides them with any assistance that enables them to remain in the city of Mecca and the Holy Sites, starting from the first day of Dhu al-Qi'dah until the end of the fourteenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
The fines will be multiplied according to the number of violators who are harbored, concealed, or assisted.
The Ministry urged everyone to adhere to the regulations governing this year's Hajj season (1447 AH) and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims, stressing that violating these regulations will subject the perpetrators to legal penalties.
Reporting violators
It called for reporting violators via the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and the number 999 in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
