Location inquiry service for Qiyas test centers from the Education Evaluation Authority

In a move aimed at enhancing the user experience and facilitating access to testing centers, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission a new interactive digital service through the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) . This service allows applicants to accurately locate their test centers using digital maps well in advance of their test date.

Enhancing digital transformation and the user experience

This new service is part of the Authority's comprehensive digital transformation strategy, which aligns with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to develop the digital infrastructure for government services. Through its "Your Digital Steps" initiative, the Authority aims to leverage the latest technological solutions to enhance the efficiency of services provided to more than two million students annually, thereby reducing effort and time and ensuring the accuracy of information provided to beneficiaries.

Steps to benefit from the location inquiry service

The authority explained that the service is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to all those registered for paper-based and computer-based tests. Users can access the service by following these steps:

  • Log in to your personal account on the "Qiyas" portal.
  • Go to the “Recorded Tests” icon.
  • Click on the "View Details" option for the relevant test.
  • Select the "Center Location Sketch" feature to open the interactive map and pinpoint the location with extreme accuracy.

Advanced technologies to ensure seamless access

The authority didn't stop at traditional maps; it enhanced the service by activating QR code . This feature allows users to scan the code, which then instantly transports them via smart map applications to the test center's location, completely eliminating the possibility of getting lost or going to other branches with similar names—a challenge some students previously faced.

Strategic importance and impact of the service on students

This service is particularly important given the psychological pressure students may face before crucial exams such as the General Aptitude Test and the Achievement Test. By providing a reliable way to determine location and estimate travel time, the organization contributes to:

  • Reduce the stress and anxiety associated with searching for the location on test day.
  • Ensuring students arrive on time and avoiding delays that could prevent them from entering the hall.
  • Organizing the flow of people around testing centers through precise guidance.

This step confirms the Education and Training Evaluation Commission’s ongoing commitment to developing the measurement and evaluation system in the Kingdom, not only in terms of the quality of tests, but also in terms of logistical and technical support services.
