The 81st Saudi plane carrying aid to Gaza has arrived as part of the air bridge

The 81st Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, arrived at Al-Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in preparation for transporting its cargo to those affected inside the Gaza Strip, as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to stand by the brotherly Palestinian people in their current ordeal.

Saudi air bridge continues

The arrival of this aircraft marks another link in the chain of ongoing air bridges launched by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister. The aircraft carries a variety of relief supplies, including food, shelter materials, and essential medical supplies, all of which are urgently needed given the dire humanitarian conditions faced by the residents of the Gaza Strip.

The role of the King Salman Relief Center

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center plays a pivotal role in coordinating and preparing this aid. The center operates according to precise mechanisms to ensure that aid reaches those who need it, through coordination with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent Societies and UN organizations. This effort reflects the Kingdom's logistical efficiency in managing humanitarian crises and its rapid response to urgent appeals, placing it at the forefront of countries supporting humanitarian work worldwide.

The humanitarian context and the importance of support

This aid is of paramount importance given the severe shortage of basic resources in Gaza, where residents suffer from a lack of food, medicine, and shelter. Saudi aid helps alleviate the daily suffering of thousands of families and provides a vital lifeline to hospitals and medical centers facing immense pressure. The continued flow of relief flights underscores the Kingdom's moral and humanitarian commitment to Arab and Islamic causes and its dedication to providing uninterrupted assistance.

The Kingdom's historical position

This support is not a fleeting event, but rather an extension of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's longstanding and unwavering policy of supporting the Palestinian cause on all political, economic, and humanitarian levels. For decades, the Kingdom has been, and remains, the foremost supporter of the Palestinian people, demonstrating through these on-the-ground actions that its solidarity transcends mere slogans and translates into tangible actions that address the needs of the Palestinian people and bolster their steadfastness on their land.
