Results of the final of the Wushu Kung Fu Championship in Riyadh and honoring of the referees

The curtain fell yesterday (Saturday) in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on the Wushu Kung Fu Championship competitions, in a prominent sporting event that witnessed wide participation from Saudi male and female players, reflecting the remarkable growth in the popularity of this combat sport in the Kingdom and the development of the technical level of its practitioners across different age groups.

The gymnasium witnessed fierce competition, resulting in 50 male and female athletes being awarded gold medals, along with another 50 medals of silver and bronze. The matches encompassed all age groups for both men and women, showcasing advanced technical skills that reflected the extensive training and effort invested in preparing these champions.

In terms of the overall club rankings, Sama Al Mawaheb Club won first place, while Black Tiger Club in second, and Clever Club in third, after strong competitive rounds that extended throughout the days of the tournament.

Localization of arbitration and development of technical staff

In a move reflecting the focus on developing the human resources of sports, the closing ceremony of the championship honored 18 Saudi referees and technical staff who actively participated in managing the matches and providing technical supervision. This recognition comes in appreciation of their pivotal role in the success of the championship and ensuring its adherence to approved international rules and regulations, thus confirming the success of the federation's plans to train national personnel to manage sporting events with high efficiency.
