Saudi aid: Launch of the "Baskets of Goodness" project to support food security in Gaza
Dr. Essam Abu Khalil, President of the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage - the implementing partner of the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip - affirmed that the "Baskets of Goodness" project does not merely represent the distribution of food aid, but rather reflects a comprehensive humanitarian message that embodies what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both leadership and people, provides to help the Palestinian people in various crises and hardships.
He noted that the King Salman Relief Center continued its humanitarian support for the sector Gaza Since the beginning of the humanitarian crisis, with the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect them.
Saudi humanitarian efforts continue
Sophie Niyrabakwe, Deputy Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Palestine, stressed the importance of this project in supporting food security for affected families, praising the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom through the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip, and expressing her appreciation for the continuation of Saudi humanitarian efforts during this difficult stage.
She pointed out that the initiative reflects the meanings of solidarity and human partnership, and contributes to supporting the resilience of the local community and preserving the dignity of affected families.
