“Permit is a prerequisite”... Hajj and Umrah authorities issue important directives for pilgrims
This comes as part of its commitment to the safety of the pilgrims, ensuring the quality of services provided to them, and enabling them to perform their rituals in a safe and organized environment.
Hajj without a permit
The ministry clarified that performing the Hajj pilgrimage is limited to those who have obtained an official permit from the competent authorities, stressing that there will be no leniency towards any attempts to perform the Hajj without a permit, as this is considered a clear violation of the regulations and instructions, and the legal penalties will be applied to those who commit it.

The ministry stressed that adherence to the regulatory procedures contributes to raising the levels of safety and organization, and enhances the efficiency of crowd management, thus ensuring the smooth flow of movement within the holy sites and raising the quality of the experience of the pilgrims during the season.
Hajj season
In this context, the Ministry clarified that coordination with Hajj affairs offices and service providers began immediately after the conclusion of last year's Hajj season, through holding regular meetings and implementing ongoing awareness programs.
The Ministry aims to enhance awareness of regulations and instructions, and emphasize the importance of adhering to approved requirements, thereby contributing to higher compliance levels, achieving the highest standards of safety and organization, and improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
