
A fine of 500 riyals per head... Grazing is prohibited within the King Abdulaziz Reserve
Development Authority confirmed The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve on Friday that grazing in all areas within the reserve's boundaries, including the Al-Saman, Al-Dahna, and Al-Armah areas, as well as the meadows and valleys, with the exception of those officially authorized from the local community.
The authority stressed the application of penalties and fines stipulated in the Environment Law and its implementing regulations against violators of grazing regulations, explaining that the value of the fine may reach 500 riyals per head, within the framework of protecting the vegetation cover and preserving biodiversity within the reserve.
Maintaining ecological balance
She explained that this decision comes within its efforts to maintain ecological balance, protect wildlife, preserve biodiversity, and reduce the negative effects resulting from overgrazing and illegal practices.
