This alert covered a wide range of governorates, including Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, as well as Al-Ahsa and Abqaiq. The center explained in its report that the region would experience strong surface winds, with speeds reaching between 40 and 49 kilometers per hour, causing dust storms, reduced horizontal visibility, and a significant increase in wave height along the coastal areas.
Saturday's weather forecast for the Kingdom
The National Center for Meteorology revealed details of the expected weather conditions for Saturday, indicating that the Kingdom will experience a noticeable drop in temperatures, accompanied by various weather phenomena including frost, fog, and dust in parts of 11 administrative regions. The center predicted that the Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions will be affected by cold air masses leading to frost formation, especially in the mountainous areas of the Tabuk region, with continued surface wind activity stirring up dust.

The Jazan region is characterized by its diverse geography, encompassing both coastlines and mountainous highlands.
