The Crown Prince directs the investment of opportunities to serve the nation within the framework of Vision 2030
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the transformative impact of Saudi Vision 2030 on the nation's development journey, following a review by the Council of Economic and Development Affairs of the Vision's achievements as it enters its third and final phase. His Highness directed all government agencies to continue their efforts, build upon past accomplishments, and capitalize on available opportunities to serve the nation and its citizens and achieve the ambitious goals of the Vision.
Vision 2030: A Comprehensive National Transformation Journey
Saudi Vision 2030 was launched on April 25, 2016, as a strategic roadmap aimed at reducing the Kingdom's dependence on oil and diversifying its economy, while also developing public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, entertainment, and tourism. The Vision is based on three main pillars: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. Since its launch, the Vision has spearheaded a comprehensive and tangible transformation in economic, service, infrastructure, and logistical sectors, as well as in aspects of social life, resulting in a qualitative leap in the country's development journey.
Tangible achievements pave the way for the final stage
With the start of 2026, the Vision enters its third and final phase, extending until 2030. This phase builds upon the significant successes achieved in the previous two phases. Over the past years, the Kingdom has witnessed rapid growth in non-oil GDP, a notable increase in women's participation in the labor market, and the launch of mega-projects that have transformed the Kingdom, such as NEOM, Qiddiya, and the Red Sea Project. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince emphasized that the most important investment since the Vision's inception has been, and continues to be, focused on the sons and daughters of the nation, through their training, development, and enhancement of their skills, enabling them to compete effectively with their counterparts worldwide.

The Crown Prince's directives are of paramount strategic importance, aiming to maintain the momentum of achievement and accelerate implementation over the next five years. Domestically, this final phase aims to consolidate the gains of the national, economic, and social transformation, ensuring the sustainability of progress and prosperity.
