Pakistan calls on the US and Iran to engage in constructive negotiations

Foreign Minister Pakistani Ishaq Dar the United States and Iran today to engage constructively in the negotiations taking place in Islamabad aimed at ending the war in the Middle East, following the arrival of delegations from both countries in the Pakistani capital.
A statement from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry indicated that Dar expressed hope that the two sides would negotiate constructively, reiterating Pakistan's desire to continue facilitating a lasting and sustainable solution to the conflict.
The United States and Iran are scheduled to hold talks in Islamabad today to end their six-week war, following the declaration of a two-week temporary ceasefire last Wednesday.
