Sunday's weather: Thunderstorms, flash floods, and fog in parts of 7 regions

announced The National Center for Meteorologydetails of weather conditions for Sunday in the Kingdom, warning of thunderstorms, flash floods, and fog in parts of seven regions.
According to the meteorology statement, there remains a chance of moderate to heavy thunderstorms leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail and fog, in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province.
Meanwhile, active winds will continue to stir up dust and sand, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to near zero in parts of these regions, as well as in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, and Madinah regions.

Red Sea

• Surface winds: Northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h over the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h, reaching up to 60 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.
• Wave height: from one to two meters on the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds on the southern part.
• Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

• Surface winds: Southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 16-37 km/h, reaching more than 55 km/h with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
• Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
• Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds.
