
Environmental law violators apprehended in Riyadh and Medina regions
The forces explained that the penalty for vehicles and cars entering protected wilderness areas and meadows is (2,000) riyals.

Exploiting the deposits
The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a Pakistani resident for violating environmental regulations by exploiting sediment in the Madinah region. Legal procedures were initiated against him.
The forces also reported seizing two pieces of equipment used for excavating and transporting soil.
Lighting the fire
The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a citizen for violating environmental regulations by failing to comply with instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation cover. He was found to have started a fire in an undesignated area within the Tuwaiq Nature Reserve, and the necessary legal procedures were applied.
The forces emphasized that the penalty for starting a fire in undesignated areas within forests and national parks is a fine of up to 3,000 riyals.

The Environmental Security Forces urged reporting any cases that constitute an attack on the environment or wildlife to the number (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom, and all reports will be treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the part of the reporter.
