For the second day, technical glitches disrupt new student registration, prompting calls to extend the admission period

A sudden technical glitchstudent registration system for the second consecutive day has caused frustration among parents, who are demanding a fix and an extension of the registration period to ensure students' rights.
Several parents reported facing technical difficulties that prevented them from completing their applications, explaining that the problems included the website being completely down, extremely slow page loading times, and the appearance of repeated error messages despite changing browsers.
Citizen Abdullah Al-Qahtani noted that the technical malfunction continued for the second day in a row, pointing out that the system would give a notification saying, "Your turn is coming," before completely ceasing to respond despite his attempts over the course of approximately 12 hours.

Calls for immediate reform and extension of the registration period

Citizen Faisal Al-Shehri called on the Ministry of Education to intervene immediately to fix the problem, stressing the necessity of extending the registration period to accommodate everyone and warning against the recurrence of these technical glitches by emphasizing the need to strengthen the technological infrastructure of the digital platforms.
For her part, citizen Noura Al-Zahrani described the immense psychological pressure mothers have been experiencing since the system's launch, asserting that the lack of explanatory data from the Ministry has exacerbated the anxiety and confusion among families registering their children for the first time.
Citizen Saad Al-Mutairi addressed other dimensions of the crisis, expressing his concerns about the loss of school places near residential areas due to the system's suspension and demanding greater transparency in the mechanism for allocating vacant seats.

Confusion of parents' time

Citizen Khalid Al-Dossari explained that he had to take leave from his workplace and spend hours in front of screens hoping to catch a chance to log in, noting that this technical glitch disrupted his work and family life.
Citizen Majid Al-Otaibi suggested finding quick and effective solutions to address the situation, calling for the opening of alternative methods such as temporary in-person registration at schools or education offices until the digital platform is fully repaired.
