Guest care centers in the Two Holy Mosques: Integrated services for the comfort of visitors
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques continues its efforts to enhance the services provided to pilgrims by activating and operating a wide network of guest care centers. This network consists of two main centers and 19 branch centers strategically distributed throughout the Two Holy Mosques, serving as a direct and effective link between service providers and pilgrims, worshippers, and visitors.
A strategic context that aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030
These developmental steps are in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the "Serving the Guests of God" program, which aims to facilitate the hosting of pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques and provide them with the best possible services. The operational system at the Two Holy Mosques has witnessed a qualitative and historic transformation, shifting the focus from mere crowd management to "enriching the visitor experience." This has made guest care centers a fundamental pillar for ensuring the performance of rituals with ease and tranquility, within a safe and healthy environment conducive to worship.
Comprehensive service package: from guidance to humanitarian care
These centers operate as an integrated system that extends beyond mere organizational functions to encompass profound humanitarian and guidance aspects. The centers offer a diverse range of services, most notably:
- Guidance and facilitation of rituals: Providing accurate information and answering all legal and regulatory inquiries in multiple languages to serve visitors of different nationalities.
- Lost and Found Service: Activating an accurate and fast system for handling lost items reports, which contributes to preserving the rights of visitors and reducing the stress resulting from the loss of personal belongings.
- Crowd management and smooth flow of movement: The tasks of the centers include a luggage storage service, which is a vital service that directly contributes to enhancing the smooth flow of movement within the corridors and courtyards, and reducing congestion and overcrowding at entry and exit points.
Exceptional care for priority groups
The Authority pays exceptional attention to groups requiring special care, providing specialized services for people with disabilities and the elderly to ensure their ease of movement and ability to perform their religious duties. Special facilities have also been established to receive lost children, who are cared for according to organized educational and security procedures that guarantee their physical and psychological well-being until they are safely reunited with their families, reflecting the bright humanitarian aspect of the services provided at the Two Holy Mosques.
Digital transformation and accessibility
In light of the Kingdom's technological advancements, the Authority has not overlooked the digital transformation of these centers. It has enabled precise access to center locations via QR code scanning, making it easier for visitors to locate the nearest center and benefit from the services offered around the clock. This combination of direct human care and smart technological solutions underscores the wise leadership's commitment to harnessing all capabilities to serve those visiting the Two Holy Mosques.
